In Search of Community Heroes
Do you know a Local Hero? Do you know someone who dedicates their time to improving the welfare of residents of Winscombe & Sandford or raising the profile of the parish by volunteering, charity work, fundraising, environmental work, outstanding sport, art, or cultural contributions?
Winscombe & Sandford Parish Council is launching its new Community Recognition Award, which aims to appreciate the often-unsung heroes of the local community. Parish residents are invited to nominate individuals whom they feel are deserving of this award.
The closing date for nominations is Friday May 3rd 2024. The winner will be announced at the Annual Parish Assembly on Monday May 13th 2024 which starts at 7:30pm in Winscombe Community Centre.

To enter by post - write the name of the person you nominate, why you are nominating them, your name and address (which will be confidential), and post through the Parish Council Office door at Winscombe Community Centre, Sandford Road, Winscombe, BS25 1JA
