Award Land

The Award Land was that given to the Parish under the Shipham and Winscombe Enclosure Act of 1799.

The Award Land is a woodland at the end of Quarry Road within the Parish and has many walks within it, which connect to the AONB and an Ancient Woodland, which has an amazing display of Bluebells during the Springtime months.

The Working Group that was set up to manage this area, has now been amalgamated with the Environment Working Group and will now be dealt with by them.
